I Connected Claude to Canva
And the Blank Canvas Stopped Being My Problem
What three days of using it for real content actually looked like.
I make a cover for every article I publish.
A carousel for LinkedIn.
A thumbnail for every Short.
Some weeks that’s more design work than writing.
And almost all of it starts the same way: a blank Canva editor, a blinking cursor, and twenty minutes of me dragging text boxes around before anything looks like a decision instead of an accident.
Then I connected Claude to Canva.
The blank part the part I actually dread mostly went away.
This isn’t a “Canva is dead” or “designers are finished” piece.
I still open Canva every single day.
What changed is where I start.
Setting it up took two minutes
I expected config files.
